Shrimp Wonton Recipe
1 lb med. shrimp, seasoned with salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
Saute the shrimp for a minute or two until it turns pink in color.
Making the filling:
1 bunch of scallions – chop only the green part
1 small ginger – chopped
1 teaspoon garlic – chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
Salt and pepper
Lay the wrapper down and add the filling
Add 2 pieces of shrimp and seal the wrapper.
Seal the wonton wrapper with egg white or water.
You can make it look fancy if you’d like.
To cook, simply boil water and add your frozen shrimp wontons. Cook for about two minutes or until soft. Drain and serve with dipping sauce.
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil – heat until hot
Add 3 tablespoons of glazed Teriyaki Soy Sauce and turn off the heat. Stir your sauce. Add scallions and a few drops of sesame oil.
Shrimp wonton soup:
Boil chicken broth and add your frozen shrimp wontons. Cook until soft. Add baby bok choy and chopped scallion, then serve.
